Services for Donna Elaine Goldman Kirby, 34, and her daughter, Tina Marie Kirby, 14 both of Palestine will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Lyle Huntress and Randy Miller officiating.  Burial will follow at Fort Houston Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.  Donna and Tina died Saturday.

Donna was born in Palestine on August 27, 1962.  She was a bookkeeper for The Message Center and a member of Calvary Baptist church.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, David and Gertrude Goldman and Elmo and Sarah Lucas.

She is survived by her husband, David Kirby of Palestine; parents Bobby and Bettye Goldman of Palestine; daughters, Tabitha Kirby and Teresa Kirby, both of Palestine; and sisters, Sharon Toombs, Brenda Hardin, and Pamela White, all of Palestine.

Pallbearers for Mrs. Kirby will be Joe Fisher, Jeff Gaines, Marlon Cooper, Russell Johnson, Ronald Van Zant, Jose Auiles, Michael Gaines and Robert Wilson.  Honorary pallbearers will be John Havis, Andrew Palmer, J.D. Minton III, Robert Wilson, Kevin Chambers, Greg Manley and Jerry Richardson.

Tina was born in Palestine on June 29, 1982.  She was a sophomore at Palestine High School, a member of the Scream Team and a cheerleader.  She was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her father, David Kirby of Palestine; her grandparents, Bobby and Bettye Goldman of Palestine and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Kirby of Tyler; and sisters, Tabitha Kirby and Teresa Kirby, both of Palestine.

Pallbearers for Tina will be Dustin Minton, Chad Minton, Joshua Johnson, Jared Conaway, Josh Sesters, Jesse Rodriquez, Jess Foster and Chris Dudley.

Condolence calls will be received from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
