Services for Charles A. Conaway age 76, of Palestine will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the Evangelistic Temple with Dr. Chuck Biscoe officiating. Burial will follow in Crawford Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.

Charles went to be with the Lord, Monday, February 20, in Plano, Texas. He was born to Boyd and Mable Conaway on October 10, 1935 in Anderson County. He was retired from Texas Department of Criminal Justice where he worked as a supply manager. Mr. Conaway was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Mable, brothers Jay and James Conaway.

He is survived by his wife Nell Hill Conaway, sons Donnie and wife Sherri, and Jeff Conaway, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews, two brothers Walter and wife Jean and Gary Conaway, sisters Ann Prater, Jean Smith, Janice Smith, Jeanette Price, and Mary Acker.

Pallbearers will be Mike Bacon, Freddie Pryor, Jimmy Pryor, Adam Harding, Curtis Don Ferguson, and George Magee.

Condolence calls will be received from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
