Services for Charles Wesley Hilton, 62, of Tennessee Colony, will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Tennessee Colony Union Church with the Revs. Benny Burlison and Mike Daniels officiating. Burial will be at Tennessee Colony Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home. Mr. Hilton died Wednesday in Grand Prairie.
A native of Tennessee Colony, he was born on October 12, 1929, to Lon and Freddie Aulds Hilton. A minister and wholesale automotive car dealer, he ministered missions in Mexico, and also ministered at the Coffield and Beto prison units. He was a member of Trinity Church in Palestine. During World War II, he served in the Army. He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife, Hilda Hilton, of Tennessee Colony; his mother, Freddie Owens of Tyler; daughter, Jennette Hilton Green of Tyler; sons, Lon Wesley Hilton of Tennessee Colony and Billy Ray Hilton of Gresham; sister, Joyce Oxford of Tyler; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Harold Brown, Bill Morris, Donnie White, Paul McKinney, Ed Sparks and Jay Ingram.
Condolence calls will be received at the home in Tennessee Colony.
