Services for Lillie Bess Hodges, 86, of Palestine, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Montague officiating.  Burial will be in New Addition Cemetery.  Mrs. Hodges died Wednesday at Cartmell Home.  She was born in Palestine on December 28, 1905, to Henry and Lillie C. Ellis Wright.  Prior to retiring, she was a clerical worker for Missouri Pacific Railroad.  She was a member of First Christian Church and a charter member of both the Harvey Woman’s Club and Palestine Newcomers Club.

She is survived by her sons, Don Hodges, Jr. and Henry Hodges, both of Palestine; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Thomas M. Colley, Jr., Frank George, Marley P. Styner, A.D. Sur les, Ernest Swift and Robert Totah.

Condolence calls will be received from 6 – 8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
