Services for Malcolm J. Clerkley, 17, will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Salt Works Road Church of christ with Norvie Cottingham officiating.  Burial will be in Pinery Cemetery under the direction of Emanuel Funeral Home.

Mr. Clerkley died Tuesday at Parkland Hospital in Dallas.  He was born March 20, 1974, to Daniel and Mary Louise Smith Clerkley Sr.  He attended Palestine High School and was a member of Salt Works Road Church of Christ.

He is survived by his parents of Palestine; sisters, Elaine Thomas, Patricia Donnell, Audrey Clerkley and Carolyn Clerkley all of Palestine; brothers, Daniel Clerkley Jr., Gerald Clerkley and Roderick Clerkley, all of Dallas, and David L. Clerkley of Palestine; and grand mother, Laura Smith of Palestine.
