Dedicated to Susan from her mother Sissy: “A Cowgirl’s Prayer”

Heavenly Father, we pause, mindful of the many blessings you have bestowed upon us, we ask you for guidance in the arena of life. You have allowed us to live in such a manner that when we make that final ride to the country up there where the grass grows lush and green and high as our stirrups and where water runs cool, clear and deep, that you as our last judge will tell me my entry fees are paid. Thank you for my wonderful life and my wonderful family.

Services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 25 at the Tennessee Colony Community Center. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to BARC, The Humane Society of Palestine, P.O. Box 63, Palestine, TX,  75802 or online at www.barctx.org or a charity of your choice.Source: Palestine Herald Press
