Services for Aaron Brown Cantrell, 75, of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Herrington / Land of Memory Funeral Home with Dan Manuel officiating.  Burial will be at Land of Memory Cemetery.

Mr. Cantrell died this morning at Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.  He was born May 19, 1920 in Tennessee Colony, to Johnny W. and Bertha Miller Cantrell.  He lived in Palestine most of his life and attended Palestine High School.

Mr. Cantrell served in the Army Air Corps in World War II and was a mechanic for Mobil Well Service.  He was a member of Memorial Christian Church.  The J.W. Cantrell Chapter No., 63 of the Disabled American Veterans was named for his father.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Aileen Eguia in 1990.

He is survived by numerous cousins.
