Services for Charles Arthur Huffman, 65, of Palestine will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Rachuig officiating.  Burial will be at Land of Memory Cemetery.  Mr. Huffman died Thursday at a Tyler hospital.  He was born in Anderson County on September 30, 1928 to Richard “Dick” and Zela Eubanks Huffman.  He was a salesman in the petroleum industry.  He was a member of Westwood Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Billy Ladell Selman Huffman, in 1969 and a sister Vera Elizabeth Brumley in 1951.

He is survived by his wife, Pat Huffman of Palestine; daughters, Mrs. Lee H. (Carla) Barron of Palestine and Rebecca Deaton and Vickie L. Davis both of Rusk; sons, Charles A. “Chuck” Huffman II of Palestine, James Thomas Huffman of Jackson, Mississippi, David Denham of Tyler and Michael Denham of Bryan; sister, Bernice Snider of Fairfield; 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Huffman, Benny Toole, Joel Huffman, Buddy Brumley, Allen Brumley, Sony Huffman, Kenneth Bell, Walter Johnson, Lee Barron, Orville Johnson, Billy Joe Davis and Roy Poole.

Condolence calls will be received from 6 – 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
