Funeral services for Donna Lee Giles Largent, 55, of Neches will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Neches with the Revs. David Dixon and Kevin Willmott officiating. Burial will follow at Wofford Cemetery in Frankston under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.

Mrs. Largent died Tuesday at Hospice of East Texas Homeplace in Tyler.

She was born Jan. 11, 1957, in Houston to James Edward Giles and Frances Genell Irwin Giles.

Mrs. Largent had lived most of her life in Anderson County and was a nurse for 36 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Neches. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved to travel with her family. She was very sweet and kind-spirited and loved everyone.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Giles, in August 2009.

She is survived by her husband of six years, Frank Largent of Neches; father, James E. Giles of Tyler; sons, Michael Shaver and wife Katie of Jacksonville, Jeremy Largent and Colton Largent of Neches; daughter, Mandy Pence and husband Ryan of Neches; brother, Bruce Giles of Palestine; sisters, Terri Zoeller and husband Bill of San Antonio and Sherry Magness and husband C.E. of Corsicana; and five grandchildren, William, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Cody and Hayden.

Pallbearers will be George Williams, Jeff Casey, Scott Alexander, Perry Morgan, Grant Magness and Doug Washburn. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Giles and Harold Barnes.

Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston or to the Hospice of East Texas Homeplace, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, Texas 75701.

The family wishes to express a very special thanks to Nancy Clark and all the staff members at M.D. Anderson and Hospice of East Texas Homeplace and many thanks to all of our friends and family who were there for us.
