Mary Jo Weatherly Graham, 89 was born on October 4, 1920 to Lawrence and Margaret Weatherly, and passed away in Bellville on May 10, 2010. She graduated from Palestine High School in 1938. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 52 years, A.E. “Buster” Graham and their daughter Bonnie Petersen.

She is survived by daughters Janice Togneri and husband Mauro of Kemah, Nancy Chappell and husband David of Bellville, Jo Kathryn Balensiefen and husband Albert “Bo” of Boerne, sons Lawrence Graham of Houston and Russell Graham and wife Mary of Schertz, fourteen grandchildren, twenty six great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, a sister Ann Weatherly Davis and husband Tommy of Palestine. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, May 14, 2010 at Bailey & Foster Chapel, Palestine with grandson-in-law Bart Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Park.

Condolence calls will be received from 8:30 A.M. until time of services. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster, Palestine.

Pallbearers will be grandsons Doyle Adams, Brent Chappell, Dan Graham, Dale Balensiefen, Dean Balensiefen and great-grandson Steven Lawriw. Honorary pallbearer will be grandson Ryan Petersen.
