Funeral services for Marie Harrison Waggoner 97 of Palestine, will be held 1:00 PM Monday at Bailey & Foster Chapel. Burial will follow in Roselawn Park.  Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey& Foster Palestine.

Mrs. Waggoner passed away Thursday at Palestine Regional Medical Center. She was born March 15, 1913 in Palestine, to Albon and Ethel Estelle Burk Harrison. She was a member of Swanson Hill Community Church. She managed her own catering business, making wedding cakes and pastries for the community. Mrs. Waggoner was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Howard T. Waggoner.

She is survived by two daughters; Billye Marie Lively of Lampasas and Sheron McLaney of Palestine, one brother Milford Harrison of Palestine, three grandchildren; George and Kirk McLaney and Billy Lively Jr., four great grandchildren; Amber, Jacob and Zach McLaney and Devon Lively.

Condolence calls will be received from 6:00 to 7:00 PM Sunday at Bailey & Foster Palestine.
