Funeral services for Jimmie Lavelle Birdwell Grubbs, 76, of Mount Enterprise will be Wednesday, June 9, at 10 a.m. at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Mount Enterprise. Burial will follow in the King Cemetery under direction of Dickie Allen Funeral Home, Cushing.

Mrs. Grubbs died June 6, 2010, in Tyler. She was born Oct. 16, 1933, in Palestine to Jim L. and Bessie Johnson Birdwell.

Survivors include three daughters, Lisa Matlock of Mount Enterprise, Jo Ann Bentley of Lufkin, and Nancy Grubbs Massingill of Mount Enterprise; son, Tommy Grubbs of Austin; sister, Mary Alice Evans of Mount Enterprise; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Landmark Baptist Church.
