Graveside services for James R. “Jimmy” Wages, 76, of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Land of Memory Cemetery with the Rev. David Willis officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.

Mr. Wages died Tuesday at Palestine Regional Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 18, 1934 in Palestine to Alan Deering and Lela Merk Wages.

Mr. Wages was retired.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Sue Wages.

He is survived by his wife, Del Freida Wages of Palestine; sons, Randy Wages and wife Kristy of Palestine, and Stan Wages and wife Chastity of Bullard; and four grandchildren, Hunter, Meg, Matt and Ben.
