Born to John T. and Macie L. Robinson, November 17th 1922 in Palestine, Texas passed away Thursday, September 10th 1998.
Mr. Robinson was a graduate of Palestine High School and served in the 9th Air Force as a Corporal Statistician during World War II.
While stationed in England, he married Joan Rollings in St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Stopsley.
He worked for the Missouri Pacific Railroad for 43years and retired as a Freight Claims Official in 1985. Sam was also active as a past ScoutMaster for the St. Philip’s Episcopal Church Troop.
Mr. Robinson is predeceased by his son David.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joan Rollings Robinson of Palestine, and his son Fred Robinson of Austin
You are invited to attend a memorial service to be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 19th at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Palestine with a gathering of friends to follow in the Parish Hall
In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Center of the Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston
