Funeral services for Bille Axum Harris, 70, of Palestine will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at Herrington / Land of Memory Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Edward Davis and A.J. Henderson officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Creek Cemetery under the direction of Herrington / Land of Memory Funeral Home.Mrs. Harris died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011, at her residence.

She was born Nov. 30, 1940, to O.B. and Flossie Freeman Axum.  She had lived here most of her life and was a member of Memory Lane Baptist Church.  She loved working puzzles and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne Harris; and sister, Bobbie Axum.

Survivors include her daughter, Terrye Moore and husband Ronnie; son, Tommy Harris and wife Nickie; brother, Don Axum and wife Donna; and sister, Imogene Jones, all of Palestine; grandchildren, Amanda Moore, Misty Wilmarth and husband Ray, Jason Moore and wife Hollie, Whitney Harris; and great-grandchildren, Hannah Moore, Marissa Lucas Moore, Austin Moore, Bam Moore and Cash Moore.

Pallbearers will be James Franklin, Eddie Clark, Corey Frazier, Brandon Martin, Jerry Stone, Lloyd Kelsey and Chuck Blalock.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2011, at Herrington / Land of Memory Funeral Home.
