Graveside services for Raymond Oliver Harris, 84, of Palestine will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Chapel of the Air at Land of Memory Cemetery with Kenneth Baker officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Herrington / Land of Memory Funeral Home.

Mr. Harris died Sunday at Palestine Regional Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 19, 1926, in Palestine to William Seaborn Harris and Bessie Lee Peck Harris. Mr. Harris was retired from Mobil Oil Company and he enjoyed photography. He had a tremendous love for God and his family.

Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Claude Lee Harris, Arthur William Harris, Lois Norman Nash and Earle Hubbard Harris.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mary Louise Clemmer Harris; daughters, Evelyn Kay Young and Kellie Rae Caskey; son, David Harris; grandchildren, Jason Warren Young, Shannon Lee Harris, Kasey Ryanne Young, Jared Adam Harris, Chad Ray Harris, Colin Seaborn Caskey and Lily Buchanan Caskey; great-grandchildren, Corrina Katelyn Young, Liam Shea Hutchins, Jasmin Mia Hutchins and Troy Adam Harris.

Honorary pallbearer will be Jerry Dalton.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Herrington / Land of Memory Funeral Home.
