Services for Ricky Frazier, 47 of Palestine, will be held 3 p.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jay Abernathy and the Rev. W. E. Shiflet officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Park under the direction of Bailey &Foster Funeral Home.
Mr. Frazier died Thursday at Hospice Home Place in Tyler. He was born August 17, 1959 in Palestine to Robert Frazier and Mary Langston Frazier Weaver. Mr. Frazier was owner and operator of Dogwood Lumber Company. He was an avid outdoorsman.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Weaver of Palestine; and father, Robert Frazier of Palestine; daughter, Leeann Hamilton and husband Wyndell of Spring; son, Justin Frazier of Spring, and the children’s mother Sharon Frazier of Smith Point; two sisters, Vickie Floyd of Elkhart and Sue Kizer of Palestine; one grandchild, Hudson Hamilton; and Granny Jessel Crist.
Pallbearers will be Larry Jones, James Ray Jones, Robert Parker, Don Zachary, Jim Lawrence and David Hardin.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Reeves, Larry Day, Carl Ray Donnel, Richard Parker, Tony Jones and Tip Floyd.
Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
