Services for Delbert Wayne Gilmore, 40 of Palestine will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church with the Rev. Jay Leewill officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home, Palestine.

Mr. Gilmore died Friday at the University Of Texas Health Center in Tyler.

He was born November 6, 1958 in Palestine to Robert H. and Mary Lee Wood Gilmore. He was a 1976 graduate of Palestine High School and a Baptist.

Mr. Gilmore was preceded in death by his mother in 1997.

He is survived by his wife, Suzette Gilmore of Palestine; stepdaughters, Angela and Janel Davis of Tennessee Colony; father of Palestine; sisters, Gail Thames of Dallas and Beverly Gilmore and Felicia Gilmore, both of Palestine.

Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
