Services for Steve Turbyfill, 39, of Palestine will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Roselawn Park with the Rev. Gordan Bass officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mr. Turbyfill died Monday in a one-vehicle accident in Henderson County.
He was born July 8, 1958 in Palestine. He was a graduate of Palestine High School and a welder for Turbyfill Machine Shop. He was a member of the Montalba Baptist Church.
Mr. Turbyfill was preceded in death by two brothers, Mark Turbyfill in 1989 and Rusty Turbyfill in 1992; and his grandparents, Mr. And Mrs. E. W. Turbyfill and Mr. And Mrs. A. E. Sutton.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Wayne and Jean Turbyfill of Palestine; mother, Judith Bunch of Dallas; daughters, Jeannie Turbyfill and Teresa Turbyfill, both of Athens; sons, Glen Turbyfill and John Turbyfill, both of Athens and sister, Julie Pettiette of Palestine.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Smith, Don Woods, Darrell Henry, Mark Wheeler, Zac Pettiette, Chad Turbyfill, Josh Pettiette and Tim Theilen.
Condolence calls will be received from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pleasant Hills Children’s Home in Fairfield, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
