David Charles Ramirez, 19, of South Royall Street, died at 10:40 p.m. Sunday in a local hospital following a brief illness.

Funeral services are pending in Robstown and will be announced by Ramon Funeral Home. Local arrangements were handled by Hassell & Foster Funeral Home.

Mr. Ramirez was born January 9, 1951 in Robstown. He attended Palestine High School during the 1968 school year.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Esmeralda Ramirez of Palestine; his father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Ramirez of Palestine; his mother, Mrs. Angelica Ramirez of Robstown; a brother, Steve Ramirez; two sisters, Mrs. Lilia Barbour and Mrs. Elma Perez; four step-brothers and sisters, Patti Eli, Steve Eli, Beth Eli and Kevin Eli; and his grandfather, Frank Ramirez of Robstown.
