Services for Raymond Eades, 55, of Speegleville, were at 2 p.m. today at Pecan Grove Funeral Home in Waco.
Mr. Eades died Sunday at his residence.
He was born January 17, 1949, in Waco to Moses H. Eades and Lillie Mae (Kelm) Eades.
Mr. Eades attended school in Marlin and graduated from Palestine High School. He graduated from Tyler Junior College, attended the University of Houston and Aeronautical School in Tulsa, Okla.
He married Sybil Murphy on June 23, 1979, in Duncanville. He worked for L-3 Communications in Waco, formerly Electro Space Systems at Love Field in Dallas, with 25 years of service. He was a member of the HOT Miniature Aircraft Club.
Mr. Eades is preceded in death by his father, Moses Eades, in 1975.
He is survived by his wife, Sybil Eades of Speegleville; sons, Jesse Measles of Morgans Point and Glenn Measles of Dallas; brother, Robert Wayne Eades of Dallas; mother, Lillie Mae Eades of Palestine; grandchildren, Justin Measles, Branden Measles and Amber Measles.
