Services for Philip “Bubba” Gray of 1115 Brierwood Drive, Palestine were today in Roselawn Park with Chaplain Vannorsdall officiating. Burial was under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Mr. Gray died Sunday in a Houston hospital.  He was born September 16, 1947 in Palestine, a son of Philip and Lula Bennett Gray, Sr. He was a graduate of Palestine High School and the University of Houston. He serviced four years in the U.S. Air Force in security intelligence. He was an artist.

Survivors include his parents of Palestine; grandmother, Eva Gray of Palestine; sister, Phyllis Wier of Oakwood, and two nephews.

Pallbearers were Donald Faulk, Pat Mitchell, Walter Graham, Harold Raines, Tim Egbert and Jimmy Lester.
