Services for Howard Daniel Bradberry, 78, of Lafayette, LA., and formerly of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at New Addition Annex Cemetery in Palestine with Rev. Tom Rousseau officiating.  Burial will be under the direction of Delhomme Funeral Home in Lafayette, LA.

Mr. Bradberry died Wednesday at Lafayette General Medical Center Hospital.  He was a native of Palestine, born to Jordan Dodd and Lela Postel Bradberry.

Mr. Bradberry was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Coast Guard.  A resident of Lafayette, LA. for the past 30 years, he retired in 1982 after working for Exxon Corp for 43 years.  He was a former member of the Petroleum Club and Oakbourne Country Club.  He was preceded in death by a bother, J.W. Bradberry.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Eunice Cecile LaBauve Bradberry, son, Chris Bradberry of Edmont, OK; brothers, Emmett Bradberry of Midland-Odessa and Forest Bradberry of Palestine; sister, Annie Owen of Palestine; and two grandchildren.

Condolence calls will be received from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
