Miss Jennie Bernice Starr, 18, died at 8:15 pm. Sunday at her home after a lengthy illness.

Miss Star was a graduate of Palestine High School with the Spring Term class of 1934 and recently had been doing post graduate work at Elkhart.

Services were held at 4 p.m. Monday at Chambers Cemetery.

Miss Starr is survived by her parents, Asa N. and Mary Belle Payne Starr; brothers, Willis Starr of Lufkin and Clifton Starr of Palestine; sisters, Mrs. Ardelle Henerson and Miss Sophronia Starr, both of Palestine; her grandparents, Mrs. Frances Payne and Mr. & Mrs. T. J. Starr.
