Nell was the daughter of William Omar and Gaye Caudle Logan. Her parents are buried in Roselawn Park. Nell was also buried at Roselawn Park Cemetery, Palestine, Texas

She graduated from Palestine High School in 1954. She married Eugene Guyon. He died 26 May 1963 and is buried in Memory Gardens in Victoria, TX.

Nell was a teacher in Austin Public Schools at the time of her death.
