Henry Paul Ritchey, age 73, formerly of Montalba, Texas died Friday in Baytown, Texas. Burial in Roselawn Park is under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home of Palestine.

Mr. Ritchey was born August 22, 1936 in Montalba, the son of the late Ernest L. and Dorothy Williams Ritchey. Mr. Ritchey was a retired Master Sergeant with 19 years in the U.S. Army and 8 years in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Montalba Christian Church. Mr. Ritchey was preceded in death by his wife Ettalu Brooks Ritchey in 2003; and a sister, Virginia Ritchey.

He is survived by his son, James Ritchey; and brother, Jerry Ritchey.
