Services for a former Palestine resident, Michael Carl Henderson, 48, of Pearland, were held Monday at Niday South Park Funeral Home in Pearland, with the Rev. John Cullen officiating. Burial was in South Memorial Park Cemetery with South Park Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Henderson died Saturday. He was born March 9, 1939. He was a master electrician and a member of Park Place Masonic Lodge 1172.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila Ann Henderson of Pearland; daughter, Michelle Lynn Henderson of Pearland; son, Dana Clark Henderson of Pearland; mother, Marguerite Pridgen of Grapeland; and a grandson.

Pallbearers were Jeff Lewis, Tommy Young, G.L. Gaines, Rayburn Moore, Carl Chavers and Hugh Dublin.
