Services for Robert “Bobby” Stubbs, 66, of Tennessee Colony will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Max Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Tennessee Colony Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Mr. Stubbs died Friday at Palestine Health Care.

He was born August 10, 1938 in Anderson County to Luther J. and Nellie High Stubbs.

Mr. Stubbs worked for Knox Glass and Palestine Contractors for a number of years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Nellie Stubbs; brother, Johnny Stubbs; and granddaughter, Amber Nicole Lawson.

He is survived by his wife, Sally Stubbs of Palestine; daughters, Sandra Gonzales and husband Tim of Lubbock, Tammy Mitchell and husband Darrell of Elkhart, Linda Wright and husband Niel of Palestine and Mary Estrada and husband Jesus of Palestine; sister, Patsy Ward and husband W.H. of Montalba; brother, Gerald Stubbs of Huntsville; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Clay Mitchell, Eric Mitchell, Cody Mitchell, Travis King, Butch Roberson and James Wright.

Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
