Services for Henry Link Sr., 62, of Palestine, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church with Drs. Jeff Cover and Tom Rousseau officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Mr. Link died Monday at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston.  He was born September 7, 1938, in Palestine to Edwin William and Ann Seymour Link.   Mr. Link was the vice president of East Texas National Bank. He was a member and elder of First Presbyterian Church.

He received the Citizen of the Year award in 1993. He was a lifetime member of the Texas Congress of Parents & Teachers, Anderson and surrounding counties Veterans Coalition, president of the United Way 1998-99, president of Community Relations Council in 1995, Fellowship of Athletics and a member of the Advisory Council of the Texas Area Fund Foundation.
