Services for Leroy Lowe, 56, of Rockport, will be at 5 p.m. Thursday in the Rockport Church of Christ with Don Hatch and Darwin Hunter officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in the Land of Memory Cemetery in Palestine with Archie Waldrum officiating.

Mr. Lowe died Tuesday in a Corpus Christi hospital.  He was born April 18, 1938, in Palestine.  He was a former elder of the Rockport Church of Christ and a member of the advisory board of Bandina Christian Youth Camp.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sandra Lowe of Rockport; son, Keith Lowe of Palestine; brothers, Edwin Lowe of El Campo, Glynn Lowe of Sulphur Springs and Douglas Lowe of Tyler; sisters, Mildred Holmes, Ann Brewer and Virginia Stanaland, all of Palestine; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Sawyer-George Funeral Home from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. today. Mr. Lowe will lie in state at the Rockport Church of Christ from 10 a.m. until service time on Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Doug Sumrall, George Lowe, Roger Holmes, Jerry McKenzie, Dale Sparks, and Wayne Barrett.
