Services for Mary Joy Knorpp, 58 of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Land of Memory Cemetery with the Rev. David Johnston officiating. Burial will under the direction of Herrington / Land of Memory Funeral Home.
Ms. Knorpp died Thursday at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. She was born December 25, 1938, in Palestine, and lived here most of her life. Ms. Knorpp was a member of Christ Community Church in Palestine. She was a music teacher for many years and a past member of Harvey Woman’s Club.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Rushing, in 1995.
She is survived by her father, A.C. Rushing of Palestine; daughter, Michele Reeder of Palestine; and three grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Memorial Mother Frances EMS.
