Services for Henry Dale Thompson, 67, of Hearne will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holly Springs Cemetery in Montalba with Dr. Timothy M. Rodham and the Rev. Bob Thompson officiating. Arrangement are under the direction of Heartfield-Ritter Funeral Home of Hearne.

Mr. Thompson died Friday in Hearne.  He was born October 18, 1937 in Anderson County.

Mr. Thompson served in the U.S. Army. He was a laborer and rancher and a member of First Assembly of God in Grapeland.

He is survived by his sisters, Victoria “Ruby Nell” Thompson and Rosemary Thompson-Garza, both of North Pole, Alaska; a brother-in-law, Edmond McCool of Pennington; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and relatives.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
