Services for J.A. (Lela) Boyling, 86 of Palestine wil be Friday at 1:30 p.m. in Bailey & Foster  Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lynn Parker officiating.  Burial will be in New Addition Annex.

Mrs. Boyling died this morning in Park Place Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.  She was born in Cherokee County, Texas on October 11, 1899, daughter of F.E. Dublin and Ella Robinson Dublin Pipes.  She resided in Palestine most of her life, she graduated from Palestine High School, attended business college and for many years was office secretary for the late M.A. Davey.  She was also a Baptist.

Survivors include her son, Edward L. Boyling of Newark, Ohio; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Condolence calls will be received today at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m.
