Graveside services for Elinor Atwood, 58, of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Fort Houston Cemetery with Dr. Jeff Cover officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Mrs. Atwood did Wednesday at Memorial Hospital.  She was born in Palestine on January 6, 1938.  Mrs. Atwood was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Palestine.  She was a homemaker.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Michele Neal.

She is survived by her husband, James Atwood of Palestine; parents, Delton and Pauline Rosson, both of Palestine; sons, Delton Atwood of Palestine and James Lee Atwood of Waco; sister, Angela Handley of Palestine; brothers, David and Michael Rosson, both of Palestine; and five grandchildren.

Condolence calls will be received from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the building fund at First Presbyterian Church in Palestine.
