Funeral services for Royall L. Stanaland, Jr. 21, of Houston will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Hassell & Foster Chapel.  Dr. Robert L. Badgett will officiate and burial will be in the Land of Memory Cemetery.

Mr. Stanaland died at 12:50 a.m. today in a Crockett hospital, as a result of injuries received in an auto accident Turesday afternoon south of Grapeland.  At the time of his death he was residing in Houston, where he was employed as a Missouri Pacific Railroad fireman.  Native of Palestine, he was born July 28, 1937 and attended the Palestine public schools.  He was a member of the B. of L.F. & E.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Barbara Stanaland of Houston; two daughters, Rebecca Lynn and Suzanne Stanaland, both of Houston; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Royall L. Stanaland, Sr., of Palestine; and his grandmother, Mrs. J.J. Stanaland of Palestine.

Arrangements are being handled by Hassell & Foster Funeral Home.
