Services for Glen Woods, 70, of Palestine will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Linda Herron, Chris Kenner and the Rev. W.S. Blanton officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Park under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, Palestine.

Mr. Woods died Wednesday at his residence.

He was born October 20, 1936 in Dallas to Walter and Nina Zoeller Woods.

Mr. Woods was self employed in the oilfield business. He was a deacon of the First Presbyterian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Woods is survived by his wife, Jackie (Patrick) Woods of Palestine; two daughters, Glenna Kenner and husband Chris of Palestine, and Judy French and husband Jim of Elkhart; six grandchildren, Casey Dear, Brooke Johnson, Heather Walding, Crystal Hutchinson, Courtney Kenner and Levi French; and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jim French, Levi French, Michael Dear, Eddy Hutchinson, Justin Johnson and Bud Walding. Honorary pallbearers will be A.J. Hudson, John W. Lee, Donald Gresham, Rick Langley and Don Woods.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the residence 107 Trail Hollow Dr.
