Services for Patsy Wilson Lamberti, 58, of Natchitoches, La., and formerly of Palestine, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Johnson and Dr. Ron Sloan officiating. Burial will follow at Land of Memory Cemetery.

Mrs. Lamberti died Tuesday at Palestine Regional Medical Center.  She was born February 13, 1947 in Palestine to Arlie B. and Irene Martin Wilson.

Mrs. Lamberti graduated from Palestine High School and North Carolina State University. She was a charter member with the YMCA youth athletic organization and was the first woman in Anderson County to run for county judge.

She was preceded in death by her father, Arlie B. Wilson; husband, Thomas G. Lamberti; brother, Kevin Wilson; and son-in-law, Timothy Mitchell.

Mrs. Lamberti is survived by her mother, Irene Wilson of Palestine; sons, Mike Handorf and wife Lydia and Gaetano Lamberti, all of Palestine; daughter, Melinda Mitchell of Natchitoches, La.; brother, Mike Wilson and wife Claire of Palestine; sister, Sandra Harris of Palestine; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to a church of choice.
