Lily Ann Hughes, 69, was born on July 16, 1936 in Palestine to Winfred and Grace Adams, and passed away on February 22, 2006 in San Antonio.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Hughes; mother, Grace Adams; sons, Hal Hughes and wife Shari, Mark Hughes and wife Pat, Thomas Hughes and wife Jana, and Adam Hughes and wife Terry; daughter, Sandra Sursa and husband Travis; 18 grandchildren; brother, Fred Adams; sisters, Quincy Roland, Lana Caperton and Beverly Skelton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a public visitation on Friday, Feb. 24, 2006 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006 at 12 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with burial to follow in the Mission Burial Park North.
