Palestine High School Alumni Association

Martha Lynn Calcote Sheridan of Port Arthur, Texas died Thursday, February 12, 2004 at her residence. She was a native of Palestine, Texas and resident of Port Arthur for 48 years. She was a sales clerk for 10 years at J.C. Penney’s and a member of Stonegate Church of Christ. She was born April 30, 1936 in Palestine, Texas.

Graveside services will be held February 14, at Pilgrim Cemetery, Elkhart with Dan Manuel officiating.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Mattie Eubanks Calcote; sister, Gwendolyn Calcote, and daughter, Sherry Hales.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Sheridan of Port Arthur, Texas; daughter, Beverly Myer and husband Steve of Houston, Texas; brothers, A. B. Calcote and wife Mildred and Howard Calcote and wife Althea all of Palestine, Texas; grandchildren, Lacey Myer of Houston, Lynn Hales of Nashville, Tennessee, Heather Hales of Houston, Isla Hales, Holly Hales, Andrew Hales and Kyle Hales all of Port Arthur.
