Memorial services for Bettye Kale, 61, of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Poteet officiating.

Mrs. Kale died Saturday in Dallas.  She was born in Palestine on July 15, 1935, to Jeff and Mamie Pate Kale.  She was preceded in death by her father and her brother, Bud Kale.

Mrs. Kale is surved by her mother, of Palestine; daughters, Bobbette Chronister and Betty Chronister, of Plano, and Beth Jon Burton of Frankston; sons, Bob J. Chronister of Holt, Michigan, and Barry J. Chronister of Palestine; sisters, Freda Gallatin of Grand Prairie and Mary Bolt of Palestine; and five grandchildren.

Condolence calls will be received immdiately after the memorial service.
