Palestine High School Alumni Association

Services for Charles Milton McCreary, 53, of Palestine were at 2 p.m. today at Holly Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Otis Felton officiating. Burial was under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home in Palestine.

Mr. McCreary was born August 18, 1935 in Palestine, son of Howell S. McCreary and Ola Bridges. He died Saturday evening in Trinity Valley Medical Center. He served in the Navy during peace time and was a truck driver for A & C Services of Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was also a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Walker.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Gay McCreary of Palestine; a daughter, Sabra McCreary Clark of Dallas; a son, Justin McCreary of Palestine; a sister, Ava Hogan of Palestine; and a brother, Howell S. McCreary of Dallas.

Pallbearers were Vernon Weber, Allen Ray Barbin, Ernest Vallery, and Bill Hogan.
