Services for Billy Vance “B.V.” Springer, 60, of Payne Springs, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Chambers Cemetery with Dan Manuel officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
Mr. Springer died Sunday at East Texas Medical Center in Athens.
He was born in Palestine on October 17, 1935. He was a maintenance foreman for Union Pacific Railroad.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Sue Berryhill Springer of Payne Springs; daughters, Brenda Sue Johnson of Eustace and Angela Kaye Nolen of Payne Springs; and five grandchildren
Condolence calls will be received from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
