Phillip Orlan Watson 1954

A private memorial service for Phillip Orlan Watson, 64, of Littleton, Colorado, formerly of Palestine, was held at Trinity Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Wednesday, in Littleton, with the Reverend Fred Lian officiating. His ashes will be spread over the coastal blue waters of Hawaii in the Fall of 2002.

Mr. Watson was born September 3, 1936, in Palestine to Porter Orlan Watson and Eugenia Phillips Spencer. He died Thursday evening, June 7, at his home with close family at his side after a long battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Watson was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Littleton. He graduated from Palestine High School in 1954 and worked in the design and construction management field prior to his retirement.

Mr. Watson is survived by his wife, Ruth Elaine Watson, of Littleton, children, Mark and Audry Watson and Matthew and Charlene Watson of Palestine, stepchildren, Lara Zajicek, Paul Andrews, and Julie McClain, all of Littleton, sisters, Betty Daly of Farmers Branch, Texas and Molly Sturgeon of Willis, Texas and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
