Services for Joe Ann Luker, 65, of Palestine, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Bailey & Foster Chapel with Dr. Jack Shoultz officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster, Palestine.

Mrs. Luker died Thursday at her home.  She was born February 12, 1933, in Anderson County, to John Albert and Lois Elizabeth Powell White.  Mrs. Luker was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Palestine and was retired as a medical clerk from the University Medical Center in Galveston.

She is survived by a daughter, Gina Gayle Tate of Palestine; sons, Gary Edward Luker of Grapeland, Dr. Curt Boyd Hodges of Virginia and Don Hodges III of Dallas; sister Jeanne Howard of Pensacola, FL; brothers, W.A. White of Monahans and John A. White, Jr. of Hickory Grove; and five grandchildren.

Condolence calls will be received from 1 – 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Hospice of East Texas.
