Palestine High School Alumni Association

Ann Warren Crone, of Temple and formerly of Palestine, passed away to heaven on Thursday, March 8, 2007.Ms. Crone was born March 3, 1932, in Dallas to R.C. and Virginia Smalley Warren.She was a 1951 graduate of Palestine High School and worked as a bookkeeper at Otis Elevator Company in Dallas until her retirement in 1994.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Billy C. Warren.

Ms. Crone is survived by a daughter, Janie Litton of Round Rock; granddaughters, Farrah Cortez and husband Dean of Round Rock and Avery Miller and husband Jason of Pflugerville; grandson, Matthew Litton of Honolulu; sister, Kay Gresham Szabo of Cedar Park; brothers, Sam Warren of Marble Falls, Donald Gresham of Jewett and Ronald Gresham of Lynnwood, Calif.; and one great-granddaughter, Addison Miller of Pflugerville.

A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Temple at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2007.
