Services for Harold (Sugar D) Dean Bostic, 71, of Montalba will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Herrington/Land of Memory Chapel with the Rev. Charles Grasty officiating. Burial will follow at Holley Springs Cemetery near Montalba.

Mr. Bostic died Friday at Baylor Hospital in Dallas.

He was born April 1, 1935 in Montalba to Floyd and Della Beasley Bostic Sr. He lived in Montalba all his life and was a member of the Holley Springs Primitive Baptist Church.

Mr. Bostic was preceded in death by his parents and son, Timothy Bostic.

Survivors include his wife Debra of Montalba; daughters, Sherry Tubbs of Montalba and Tana Tunstall of Palestine; grandsons Chris Rawson, Jason Boyd, Brian Tubbs, Cody Tunstall, Nicky Tubbs, Canon Tunstall and Kyle Bostic; two great-granddaughters, Laynie Grace Tubbs and Lyndsey Shawna Tubbs and an extended family of sons Shelby Dorsey and Dustin Carter and grandchildren Courtney, Lauren, Kaylin and Shelby Dorsey III.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive condolences from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Anderson County Humane Society.
