Services for Harold McNeill, 67, of Palestine, will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with David Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Land of Memory Cemetery.

Mr. McNeill died Friday at Palestine Regional Medical Center.

He was born April 16, 1934 in Anderson County to John Alexander and Rosa Neil McNeill.

Mr. Mc Neill was a member of Christ Community Church. He served in the Texas National Guard and retired from Union Pacific Railroad.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Vallie Humphrey; and a brother Floyd McNeill.

Mr. McNeill is survived by his wife, Melba Whtescarver McNeill of Palestine; a daughter, Candace Turner of Palestine; sons, Joel McNeill and Brian McNeill, both of Palestine; brothers, Donald Earl McNeill of Longview and Carrol McNeill of Palestine; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be George Arnold Mack, Floyd Schmitz, David Walton, David Wright and Kimo Perkins.

Condolence calls with be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
