Palestine High School Alumni Association

Charles Bremer was one of our brightest classmates and he enrolled in Texas A & M after graduation from PHS in 1952. He received his petroleum engineer degree in 1956 and married Jane Callahan from Atlanta, Georgia on July 19, 1958. He was employed as a petroleum engineer in the production department of Shell Oil Company and traveled all over the country pursuing his career.

He was born November 18, 1934, in Palestine and was involved in many activities and sports in Palestine High School and with his high school friends. He loved fishing and hunting all his life and played a lot of golf.

Charles and Jane have two children and two grandchildren. His daughter, Kate, is 41 and lives in California. His son, Ed is 39 and lives in Mississippi.

Charles died of cancer on February 28, 1988, in Houston
