Services for Ada Marie Cross, 63, Palestine, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Ronald Walker officiating. Burial will be in Fort Houston Cemetery.

Mrs. Cross died February 9 at her residence. She was born November 20, 1933, in Palestine to Claude and Ada Viola Rogers Corne. She was a licensed vocational nurse for the Texas Department of Corrections Michael Unit, and was a member of North Jackson Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Lewis Cross, Palestine; daughter, Glinda Marie Looney, Palestine; sons, Jimmy Dean Cross, Frankston, and Timmy Gene Cross, Palestine; brothers, J.R. Corne, Red Lake, and Leon Corne, Palestine.

Pallbearers include Robert Bishop, William Whitwell, Milton Hogan, Mike Pell, Kyle Betterton. Mike Phillips and Kelly Hughes.

Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
