Funeral services for Donald Rex Morris, 26, of 2800 N. Jackson, were held at 2 p.m. today in the Hassell & Foster chapel. Rev. Otis Felton and Dr. W.R. Swain conducted the final rites and burial followed in Land of Memory Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Sam Lee, Ed Bedre, George Wright, Mark Rich, Robert Mathis, Tucker Farris, Boyd Carter and George Hutcherson.

Born in Palestine, February 5, 1933, he was a local salesman for the Petroleum Distributing Company. He died Saturday night.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Harriet Herrington Morris; a daughter, Rexie Lee Morris; mother, Mrs. Ivy Lee Morris; a brother, Floyd Lee Morris, all of Palestine; and a grandmother, Mrs. Sallie Morris of Houston.
